It is far easier to comprehend and remember “U15” than “Bantam”. I’m guessing the A woman cannot survive on wine alone she also needs a camper and a dog shirt Apart from…,I will love this previous name for “U18” – “Midget” – did not pass the PC muster test. Smart move by Hockey Canada. A Minor Hockey Association or “club” owns the rights to players in its geographical districts. Based on registration, they’ll have try outs and negotiate with the league which levels they will compete in. Once my Association didn’t have enough competitive players for an A team. So they made a B team. I wanted to try out for an A team in another city. But they refused to let me. AA teams are made from the top players of an entire league. That team is incredibly tough to make. Practice might be more than an hour away from your house.
And you have practice every day before school. And your parents or someone has to drive you. Both ways. You also have at least one “away” game every week (as if “home” games aren’t far enough away). “Away” games might be several hours away. There is also “AAA” hockey. But in our area, they only had it for summer hockey. In big cities, they have AAA leagues. They are made of the A woman cannot survive on wine alone she also needs a camper and a dog shirt Apart from…,I will love this best AA players from each AA league. Major Junior has recently consolidated into a single league – the CJHL. It used to be a bunch of disparate leagues (OHL, QJMHL, WHL) that eventually faced off in a playoff. But draft year is age 18. And if you want to get drafted, you should have at least a year or two of experience in Major Junior hockey. And you should at least be on the top line.
