Brutalism honors the process of designing by exposing its very construction, and I think there’s something fascinating and subversive about that.” It turns out brutalism doesn’t need to feel brutal at all.
Anthony Vaccarello presented his new fall 2023 collection for Saint Laurent this evening during Paris Fashion Week. But leave it to Lipa, a noted trendsetter, to switch things up in favor of a hooded top instead. Her cropped black shirt, with cut-outs at the shoulder, offered a dash more skin than a gown—though she paired it with long black trousers and a sleek leather trench coat.
