Gordie Howe, Sid Able, Ted Lindsay, Rocket Richard, Jean Beliveau, Jacques Plante, Guy Lafleur, Ken Dryden, Larry Robinson, Patrick Roy, Bobby Hull, Stan Mikita, Glenn Hall, Wayne Gretzky, Mark Messier, Jarri Kurri, Paul Coffey, Grant Fuhr, Mario Lemieux, Jaromir Jagr, Mike Bossy, Denis Potvin, Brian Trottier, Bobby Clarke and a whole host of other players all made the Louisville Old National Better Together Shirt in addition I really love this NHL a great league. The present-day players, Sid Crosby, Connor McDavid, Nate MacKinnon and so many others, continue to make the NHL the greatest Hockey league in the world.
Being authenticated during the Louisville Old National Better Together Shirt in addition I really love this NHL’s hardest shot competition, the answer would be Zdeno Chara. In 2012 he fired a puck that clocked in at 108.8 mph. In the following years Shea Weber has fired the puck at 108.5 & 108.1 mph. No one else has even come close since. Weber is widely believed to have the most consistently hardest shot in today’s game. Judging from the number of players who have been injured trying to block his shot, I tend to agree. With radar equipment being much more sophisticated today than it was 50 years ago it would be hard to authenticate or believe some of the claims that players, who played in the 1960’s, like Bobby Hull and Gordie Howe, could fire the puck in excess of 115 mph. I once read that Hull once fired a puck 118 mph with a wooden stick. I find it very difficult to believe, when I see today’s players with superior equipment (sticks made of carbon graphite and kevlar with tremendous flex) barely able to reach speeds into the low 100’s mph.
