I mean, I felt pretty… I don’t wanna say lucky, but they didn’t really require that. But I also wouldn’t have done it because it was unnecessary, and I was giving a lot of myself in so many ways to this role. I’m not saying that I wouldn’t [do it] for another character, but for this particular one it wasn’t asked of me, and I wouldn’t have personally done it for that character. I was trying to think why it could possibly be different for Chloë than any other actor to do a sex scene, and it came back to the You can’t really see me shirt Besides,I will do this show concept for me: the possessiveness of music fans. Chloë is a sensational actor. In order for us to feel for Dre, you also have to feel for Marissa. You have to understand Marissa. You get a Marissa that’s warm and lovable, so that you can understand Dre’s perspective. And that’s a testament to Chloë as a person, because she’s so sincere, generous, caring, and loving, and she was able to bring that to Marissa. Her scene on the couch—when she’s eating French fries, talking to Damson [Idris]’s character—I watch that scene and I revel because she is so in the moment. Even the way she eats the fries as Marissa. She dropped so many gems as an actor that it’s unfortunate that we’re talking about sex when we all know what sex is—it is not the first or last sex scene that people will ever see.

That is just ridiculous, okay?! I do believe that there’s a lot of repressed memories that I don’t even know about Dre, that even I didn’t have access to as an actor portraying her, but I don’t believe that she would do that. She loved her too much. And look what happened to her when she was gone. The pairs’ free skate, on Wednesday night, was the You can’t really see me shirt Besides,I will do this expected showdown between the current US gold medalists and defending world champions, Alexa Knierim and Brandon Frazier, and the current Japanese champions and reigning world silver medalists, Riku Miura and Ryuichi Kihara (who beat Knierim and Frazier this past fall at the Grand Prix Final). Uncharacteristic mistakes by Miura put the team in second place in the free skate, but a fall by Frazier in the short program had put the Americans in second place overall and gave the Japanese enough of a cushion to win the title by more than four points. Sara Conti and Niccolo Macii of Italy won bronze over Canadians Deanna Stellato-Dudek and Maxime Deschamps—and a second American pair, US silver medalists Emily Chan and Spencer Akira Howe, rounded out the top five.
